I imagine that's going to be a busy weekend, which might make upgrades tough.
In terms of parking, where are you driving in from? It might make sense to park outside of Boston and then take a train to Back Bay Station, which is practically connected to both the Marriott and the Westin.
Do you need access to your car while you're in Boston? The answer should be no.
