I had a ~90 minute flight on this plane yesterday. First time on this model but make this trip about once a month.

The new seats are cushiony enough, but I feel there is a problem.

The rolled top back seam of the bottom cushion is a bit prominent. Sitting all the way back in the seat, it sort of felt like a ridge along my backside. It was a uncomfortable, and this was only a 90 minute flight, and with being able to shift around liberally, with the middle seat open.

The bottom of the back cushion does not extend over the top of the seat cushion and there's about a half-inch gap, leaving the seam exposed. I am a 6+ feet ~225# and generally start by sitting at the back of the seat for legroom and lumbar support.

Solutions might be to bring along a cushion such as a lumbar support which would cover that gap and the rolled seam. Or to put a smushed up shirt/sweater under the lumbar back.

I didn't take a pic but we'll see what we can get on the return flight. I didn't find a clear picture of the seats online, can anyone else find one?

I think this is a design flaw.

Has anyone else been in these seats yet?
