Just came off this flight - and it's not the easiest flight to fly through due to the timing. I found the catering to be OK - had expected better. There are 2 Tokyo based Japanese FA on this flight. Don't expect them to be like JAL, they are quite adapted to the BA service levels
Although I was recognized for my GGL level - strangely only greeted by the Japanese FA before departure and before landing. The IFL/M did not bother to drop by at all.
If I compare this route to AF, I still think AF has the slightly better edge. - better seats, food and service in general. Surprisingly, I found the Club Suites to be quite uncomfortable - there is a small gap. Maybe also did not help as my seatmate in front of me - was tossing and turning and being active the whole time - a big sized person, so the whole seat shook and he did not bother that others wanted to sleep. Had about 3 solid hours of sleep and the rest was off and on.
Very light load at the back of the plane, so there was some weight issues upon arrival, was kept onboard upon landing for about 10 mins after reaching the gate.
Cheers!
I found this too salty
Not really good
Asked for this other option and given the fruits too. Was much better compared to the chocolate cake
Was not the best English breakfast. Sausage had lots of hard pieces and eggs too dry.
