You can open a family account and pool Avios on BA and then book an Iberia flight. Or, you transfer Avios from you wife to Iberia and book from there. Please note to transfer Avios to or from IB you will need an active Iberia Club account which is determined as an account that has earned Avios in its own right, not just with transfers.
