I see in the wiki and the rules that: Generally, the ticket will be issued by whichever airline flies your first segment.

If you call BA, there is no requirement that all flights must be marketed with a BA number.. in fact, there are many flights where BA doesn't have a codeshare number.
Ultimately, what do you want to get? That is probably easier than trying to describe every possible situation that could possibly happen.

2. Has anyone used BA to make a rtw ticket a BA holiday or it's not possible?
There have been reports that BA can book a RTW ticket, although the agent's knowledge level can be highly variable. You can search this forum to read up on others' experiences doing so.

Thanks!
