For some reason, MEX does things right. I have the same experience whenever I check bags to there, the catering is great ex-MEX, the AC is not bad with a golf cart or “carrito” service to the gate for any pax with access, and the staff are genuinely always super kind and helpful. So while the terminal is a dilapadated mess, everything that’s under AA’s purview is actually pretty great. Perhaps isom and co need to do some undercover boss type stuff to figure out how they do it!
