its a business decision to get their lowest fares competitive with the lccs so the appear competitive in internet searches. If people the go to ba site and pay more for ce, just as the would pay more adding baggage fast track etc to the lcc advertised fare

What you cannot see on the page i posted is restrictions that could be different. Simetimes ce is cheaper than ET, but the fare is much more restrictive
