I’ve never bought a RTW ticket before but I think a simple 5-sector business class trip would be enough if booked through AA?

I have to take time off work so I’m looking for as quick a trip as possible bearing in mind the two stopover rule and positioning to/from OSL. Something like OSL-LHR-LAX-HND-LHR-OSL with stopovers in airport hotels at LAX and HND maybe?

Can you experienced folk tell me if I am on the right track with this? Advice welcomed!
It's unclear how time constrained you are for planning/ticketing, but you might consider just getting to the US for your 7k ntp needs and then using the rest in the next earning year and/or for fun later, nesting a return to London in between.

Eg Osl-doh-lhr-doh-jfk (presumably stopping in lhr) gets you 7k ish i believe. Then fly back to London on points and complete the rtw next year.

Or Osl-doh-lax-jfk gets you very very close to your needs if a qr code share on lax-jfk is possible (I'm unsure) which would likely require using a travel agent.
