I have booked in the recent past LAX-NRT - 7 day free stopover - NRT-HKG on JAL and it all worked fine.

My question is are free stopovers allowed on this kind of routing LAX-NRT (stopover) NRT-LHR? Does the second flight have to be intra Asia only or is a further flight to Europe allowed?
