Back on topic, it’s up to the OP whether they take the risk although if anyone has first hand knowledge that’d be best.

I almost did it last year on QF33 but the inconvenience of the earlier check in time and as it turned out, the earlier departure meant it would have been difficult for work reasons to get there in time. No wifi either.
