I'm sorry to hear about your infestation. The psychological trauma of an insect parasite infestation is difficult. You start to imagine and feel them everywhere.
I am sure you already know most of this but I'll share anyway.
Vacuum rugs & furniture every day especially in corners and crevices, apply food grade diatomaceous earth where safe, put double sided tape on your bed & furniture legs. Don't forget your cars too if you drive. You will have to break a full insect cycle of egg-laying to adult to get over it, which takes 1-2 months and means you will have random flare-ups. Don't be discouraged when that happens.
Ask your vet for a course of Bravecto for your cats. That will help for fleas. MAYBE it helps kill the mites too, if they bite the cats. Can't hurt. The med is common and helps put the cats to "work" reducing the infestation. Otherwise you need to comb the cats 2x/day for a few weeks. Given you have 3 cats and the mite problem I think Bravecto is well worth it in this case.
Good luck, hang in there. If you're diligent the bugs will go away faster than your mind become at ease again, so try to take an objective numbers-based view of the situation (I saw X bugs today, I had Y bites today ... record these numbers and watch them decrease) to help reduce the anxiety faster.
