We would meet outside at 10:00, so late comers can join us when they arrive. This is a Smithsonian Museum = no cost to enter. Multiple subway lines go to the area. It's adjacent to South Ferry and Bowling Green. The museum is in the Customs House. My father worked there until he retired. It's a beautiful building inside and out.
After the Museum, we'll take the ferry at Wall Street to have lunch at Smorgasburg on Kent Ave in Williamsburg (Brooklyn).
This was a stop for several years. Besides multiple upscale food vendors, there are good views of midtown Manhattan from the Brooklyn side.
And now the good news for late comers.

The museum should take about 60 minutes, and FT'ers will be easy to find. I expect we'll leave at 11:00 and walk to the ferry.
One more thing. If you're running late or get lost, PM me for my cell number this week.

With the anticipation of rain, we'll still meet at the Museum of the American Indian. After that, it's a crapshoot. If raining, Smorgsburg is out. I may substitute Time Out Market

or we may go back to Dekalb Market.
https://www.dekalbmarkethall.com/ We had lunch there 6 or 7 years ago. While not as fancy as Time Out and Smorgsburg, there's plenty of food choices to include Katz's Deli. This works with the schedule.

If the rain is worse than expected, we can ride the rails. If we do this option, the train will take from Dekalb Market us to Brighton Beach, where we'd change trains for 1 stop to Coney Island. If it's still raining, we'll continue on to L&B for an early dinner.
Other options after L&B are to go to
Frances Tavern back in Manhattan, just steps from the museum.

Everything will be up in the air if the weather doesn't cooperate.
See you at 10:00 Saturday morning. If you're late, don't worry. You can find us inside.
