The last 3 times I've gone through DFW I have passed through the detector by a couple of feet and the TSA informs to to remove my shoes. Fair enough, even though I have no heals (tennis shoes), but the comment from each of the screeners kills me "it's to speed up the screening process." This might be true, but since I already passed through, it adds to the screening process.
