Good points all, Orwaid. I last flew Frontier two years ago. There was a couple of upcharges from the initial fare, but I managed to get a seat in the front of the A320Neo. I don't recall if there was an empty seat next to me. I do remember thinking that the seat was not very comfortable, mainly due to its design which felt hard and stiff. The service was acceptable, what of it there was.

The above link was from the year I flew them. I understand they've retained their lowest ranking in 2024.

Frontier serves some routes off the beaten path like Denver to Lafayette, LA. nonstop, and occasionally it makes sense to fly them. On those routes where they compete with Alaska though, I'm happy to pay more for Alaska's nicer service. Of course, it helps that I'm a 100K Million Miler as well.

But that's me. Clearly, Frontier works well for you, so enjoy the savings and Happy Contrails =========>
