When an Elite Partner with Gold status submits an upgrade request, is there any advantage to her using a gifted EAPDU versus using her own Gold recognition upgrade instrument? Or are they both treated equally? Specifically in terms of:

So scenario is 2 Golds, both with upgrades lodged at the same time (could they?). One with their own Gold RU and another with Gifted EAPDU.
We don’t know 100% as AirNZ doesn’t provide transparency on the prioritisation rules & process. I’d hazard a guess that a gifted EAPDU/RU *might* rank higher than lodging her own Gold RU, but this is just a feeling….
Certainly a gifted EADPU /RU shouldn’t clear before T-7 given her status is Gold (assuming you are not on the same PNR)
