I make the same travel calculus. I used to fly Alaska up and down the West Coast. Now I fly Frontier. I used to Uber everywhere. Now I take public transportation when feasible.
Egads! Alaska could drop all food service in economy and I'd still fly them over Frontier. I abhor being nickle and dimed over every little thing, not to mention 29-30" seatpitch. To me at least, Alaska's service model is worth paying more for.
As for Biscoffs - or their lack thereof - if I flew regularly enough, I'd just buy a big package of them and baggie up a half dozen or so for my weekly trips.
