Howdy,

Houston Hobby is the worst I've seen.

I've got two pairs of Florsheim (sp?) shoes I wear, the heels are well under an inch and they contain no metal.

Other than Hobby - no other airport has made me remove them.

At Hobby, I was asked if I wanted to remove them; I responded, "They are airport friendly with heels under 1" and do not fit the profile". I went through; no beep. And was then told I was selected for secondary screening.

While I was being screened; the gentleman looking at my shoes asked the lady, is this full or shoes? She responded, it's shoes - but we're doing full.

5 minutes later I was on my way after being wanded, prodded, poked and nearly dropping my pants.

If it happened once, it'd be one thing - but over the last 4 weeks I have had the almost exact same situation play out 3x.
