QANTAS is on the distance model so in theory you can rely on Flight Calculator, and that says 5862 Avios, 782 Avios as fixed for A in First. Under the old system this would have got the equivalent of 2,800 nTP, so you can see how badly this is not treated, and yet you booked this in November on BA. We've have had very few reports of people pushing for old bookings outwith BA, IB and AA marketed being retrocredited at the previous levels and until these get reported here I can accurately tell you whether to complain about that. It's for sure that there are no bonus nTP. However it was booked under BA so they do have visibility here and I think on a contract basis you have a strong claim. It is interesting that you are struggling to understand the system.

To circle back, I was stealing myself for a fight on this. And sent in two different polite requests (just stating that it was prior to 30 DEC, and also that they had QF /A/ listed as premium economy), one via CS and one later via email (no idea which worked), and received a response that exactly as above that it needed to be before 30 DEC and BA, AA, IB marketed. So QF was not eligible.
However as goodwill (GGL, or just feel sorry for me....) they added the (correct) difference of nTP and avios.
Which they (unfortunately) correctly put as non BA nTPs, so I am still 28k away from where I need to be, and have GFL. But who knows maybe someone pays for 20k for an F flight SYD/LHR in the next 9 months....
(There is no GB 20k flight in any cabin on any airline on SYD/LHR but I digress....)
