For sure I will renew my card, maybe not back to back if I am not travelling immediately after the card expires but if I have to book a stay with the discount taking place while I don’t hold the new card i’ll draw this message from my pocket and let the hotel deal with the pricing with Accor Social team or CS. At some point if you give incorrect info to the guest you have to cope with your mistake.
Accor is now a gigantic hotel company, this kind of mistake is unacceptable, same goes for website updates with GM names. Every time i go to an event at the Accor arena or Roland Garros it’s always packed with tons of Accor employees, i wonder when they actually work or do they simply let their hotels work their asses off while HQ people is having fun and getting all the credits for the financial results ?
