I don't know about others, but I would not be pleased with what is basically $125 off a future flight for an overnight delay on international travel.
I got 15,000 miles for a mechanical cancellation on LHR-ATL that resulted in a 24 hour arrival delay (along with reimbursement for lodging/meals and UK261 compensation). My recollection of this thread is that amount is pretty standard.
