I just booked a few routes where WGA+ was only $20-$25 extra. And a good deal with the current wowzers promo. Plus my flights are during a promo free CP time period. Easy to justify a small up charge for some more flexibility (and a few extra points).

The bag fees blow though. I cherish my lifetime UA Gold even more during those few times I stray from UA/*Alliance
