I have been cursed for life with a CO number that began with UA.
Half the time, agents think the UA is the prefix and drop it, leaving the 6 digits.. which of course is wrong.
I had matched my United status to CO, so I wondered whether the UA prefix was truly random or specific to the matching circumstances.
