I had the same issue. I can tell you the VA are the only ones that can assign seats. Most VA staff will tell you that they cannot do it, ask to speak to the supervisor Regina, she knows how to do it. Another pro tip, A and K seats are bookable, but you need to tell them just give it a try and then they reailise that they can do it even though their training manual says that they can't
Thank you! Will give them another call. Just wanted to ask also how you were able to sort out the PNR issue (if you had the same)? I was speaking with an Aeroplan rep who told me that the reason I couldn’t access my booking with VA is because Sabre (VA’s ticketing system) can’t identify my email address, which it needs in order to verify access to the booking. Any ideas here? Much appreciated
