Well I was successful in getting UA at IAH to print interlined bag tags to SQ in SIN, but my bags never made the SQ flight and are sitting at SIN based on my AirTags. UA GS line passed me to “GS baggage services” who are saying to deal with SQ. I’ve filed a claim with the outsourced SQ baggage agents at DPS. Does anyone know how to contact someone at Changi with either United or SQ? The bags are sitting near the gate where we deplaned UA and boarded SQ (5 gates apart). I’m assuming the bags weren’t properly handed over from UA to SQ. Appreciate any help or advice.
As a bit too late advice, always check with the departing airline at the gate that they have your bag. Visit a transit desk or check at the gate. Often the receiving airline does want to scan your luggage tag to accept the bag.
