SEA-TPE an afternoon flight delayed until next day. Had to deplane due to mechanical issue after sitting on ground for a couple hours. 16 hours or so delay. Was in Premium Economy if that matters.

Given choice of hotels (Took a 4 Points, but Embassy Suites and 3 others were available) and about $20 in f/b vouchers. Worked seamlessly.

Asked (didn't "complain") quite a few days (Week+?) later if any compensation - given 12,500 miles.
