Yes, Qantas win on this, somewhat. Their F lounges are outstanding (Christmas Eve '23 I had an entire bottle of Penfold at 8am (£590 a bottle) - and then a massage). You won't get that on BA - but - domestic flights, I personally prefer the self serve nature of BA with regards to food and drink. I don't really want to have to order and wait. But YMMV!
There's no Qantas F lounge accessible on a domestic itinerary - so the Penfold + massage experience would not have been available to the OP. QF doesn't suffer from BA's costly situation at T5 where Y pax on cheap domestics can access the CCR with the right card.
QF's Business/OWE domestic lounge at SYD is not impressive at all, and the food offering well below the BA lounges at LHR. MEL's Business/OWE lounge has nicer food.
