Received feedback from the hotel to some of my questions:

For breakfast when included in the rate, all of the following locations are included:

-Grand Café (buffet)
-Galleria Café (buffet)
-Toastina (buffet / opening depending on the occupancy)
-Maihama (buffet / opening depending on the occupancy)
-Asuka (Japanese style set meal)

As to renovations, currently the Ocean Dream Floors (floor 6 and 7), the Treasures floor (8th) and the Sheraton Club floor (12th) are renovated. All other floors still are unrenovated. As the Premium Family rooms are the corner rooms on floors 3-12, it's about only a 1 in 3 chance to get a renovated room.
