Revisiting this property after a few years, the experience continues to be good for what I need on a visit to the area.
Staff and housekeeping seem to have gotten a bit more polished, even though this wasn't a previous concern. The quality of the hard product remains great - rooms feel decidedly premium with good furnishings that seem to wear well. The beds are still very comfortable with nice linens (100% cotton!) as I've noticed some other hotels in the same market band start to cheap out on this. Noise isolation is still pretty good and better than many of its peers - not sure if they've changed anything like door or window hardware, but there seems to be a marked improvement as you can barely hear anything from outside, or even from down the hallway.
The Penn Station area has become slightly nicer over the last few years, so the location continues to be a plus.
No comment on the food and beverage, but I'm in the middle of Manhattan so I don't have any incentive to patronize the hotel for this
