T-14. Yeah, if it was just me and P2 I would jump for sure. For 2 young kids, meh.. Plus I'm kinda proud of doing this whole trip without $1 of air/hotel spend 😂 But I'll probably stew for a bit then decide I want to do it.

One thing that's honestly a little complicated is the mixed messages on service. Some people say AA FA on long haul are not very good. Others say this is a much better level of service. Not sure what to expect and I'm sure it's ultimately a YMMV. Anyway, it's definitely tempting me.

I wonder if the rates they offer are tied to the # of pax on the PNR. Like, is $326pp lower than they would offer someone with 2pax because I am buying more? Or other variables. Dynamic/personalized pricing for upgrades.
