For Amazon, it depends. If the address is manually flagged as high volume, Amazon will directly send a big truck to it to save everyone time and money. In those cases the recipient is probably signing for the whole truck or pallet. The old BG Oregon warehouse had this setup, the new one does not seem to have this setup. Otherwise you're right, its just Amazon Logistics showing up in normal delivery vehicles.
