I should also add, the vast majority of my stays are with Park Hyatts and Andaz, so the suites I get are large, real suites. So the TSUs save me serious money as I'd probably book a suite anyway. And at PHs especially, I've found they often upgrade above a standard when using TSUs
Andaz is stingy in my experience and always you get what you pay or TSU for according to program terms.
Finally, I typically stay 5-10 nights. I've only used a TSU once (at Thompson Austin) for less than 4 nights. Everything else is 5-7 nights so the savings really is incredible.
My biggest problem is that many properties now have tiny standard suites or upgrade into something more akin to a junior suite. That's how Hyatt is degrading the benefit and the program quietly without changing terms.
PHs are best at maintaining standards so tsus work for me. I rarely stay at HPs, have never st a HH, because the globalist benefits are so anemic.
