As I mentioned somewhere upthread, UA should be proactively using the delayed snack carts at the gate area for
all pax (assuming they are still around…honestly haven’t seen any for a while). Fill with the free snacks, drinks, etc, and allow folks to grab while boarding. At least pax would be guaranteed something.
Obviously, doesn’t work for long-haul international, but can’t see why that wouldn’t be at least something they could do.
