On my way to Europe this weekend, first leg was SNA-SFO before heading the long way over the pond to MUC. We had a great flight attendant, who asked me as we started our approach to land at SFO how many “boxes” I wanted to take with me. Apparently the current situation at SFO is so unpredictable that they are only stocking boxes (i.e. tapas, takeoffs, etc…) in their carts and are proactively looking to diffuse the situation with the catering company by offering these to everyone in the business class cabin and 1K’s how might be in economy. I had time for Polaris and declined, but many others on our E175 took part in the campaign. Not sure if this experience is applicable to everyone else or not?
