Note, however, that adjacent can mean immediately in front or behind, or across an aisle, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get three seats in a row although there’s still a chance you will.

You can, of course, apply for a refund of your seat reservation fees after the flight.

If you’re willing to share your flight details, someone can check to see which seats are actually taken and which are just blocked. Typically the bassinet seats in the front row are blocked and will become available if not required for infants.
