Got a notification this morning that my 2A seat was changed to 1F on an A380 redemption for Feb 2026. I was concerned since I put P2 in 1A so I logged in to see that the plane had been changed to a 777…😭. I browsed the SQ site and it looks like most of the Feb-Mar 2026 SQ25/SQ26 flights were changed to 777s but they switch back to A380 at the end of March. Maybe it’s a maintenance/scheduling issue? I guessing there’s no chance that they switch the flights back to A380.

I’m debating if I want to keep the booking or not. It’s part of my honeymoon trip and I built the trip around the suites redemption. I suppose normally you can’t book two F award tickets on a 777 since Singapore only releases one per flight so it’s a chance to fly F together on SQ 777 without paying cash, but it’s a ton of points to use just for that purpose. If I cancel I’ll have to find an alternative flight to SIN but won’t have to reposition to FRA. Choices choices🫠
