Funny eFuough upon purchasing the trip today I was immediately offered a upgrade to PE for 495€(the difference between y and pe at booking was 260€) and J for 1495€ 🤣🤣
I personally would prefer eco comfort on short- and medium haul flights, and emergency exit row on long haul:
the biggest con of exit row is that you can't store your personal item during taxi, take-off, approach and landing. And if the seat is next to the toilet, it would be pretty noisy sometimes. And in most of cases, for eco comfort on long haul flights you may have higher chance to get your next seat not occupied. However, you get definitely much more leg space than eco comfort on long haul. Is just a matter of taste.

btw: I have heard that some crews will upgrade Ultis one level of their booked cabin, such as Eco to PE, PE to Biz, even when the flight is not overbooked. Would not put lot of expectation on this, but would be no doubt an absolute high light if your cabin crew offer this.
