My understanding is the conciliation officer should have been appointed by 30MAY.

The reason I ask is I'm trying to determine the earliest possible strike date.

It is my understanding a potential strike date would be 60 days after the conciliation officer has been appointed (and no further discussions are to occur). Then add the 3-week cooling-down period. After the cooling-down period is the earliest the union can provide a 72-hour strike notice. This puts the earliest possible strike date on 22AUG.

I am flying AC to ICN the following week. I know AC is suppose to protect pax if there is a strike however my schedule does not allow for any delay in arrival to ICN. Granted I'm in J class and there would be less J pax to reaccommodate however there are also less J seats in the marketplace.

The earliest possible strike date will determine whether I start making changes this week to fly BR instead of AC inro ICN. (I don't care if I'm delayed coming back home, it is going to ICN that I cannot delay).

Cheers
If what you posted bears out I will dodge the bullet, I have two Europe trips June & July in August I'm flying to the Cayman Islands but that's on UA but but I'm back to Europe in Sept on AC
