I recently flew TPA-SEA-YVR round trip. The check-in agent at YVR informed me there was no AS lounge, but failed to note that I (apparently) could use the CX lounge. Yes? She noted a paid lounge -- Priority Pass, I think. I don't suppose AS is considering putting one in, but if CX works there may be no point.
Use the CX lounge in YVR when flying YVR-SEA? I don't think so! If you fly long-haul from YVR in a premium cabin or with oneworld status, then yes, but not to SEA.
Edit: With BA Gold status you should be good
