Yes BA will willingly take your money. Log into your reservation on AA.com and it should have the BA PNR. You'll use that to log into Manage My Booking on BA.com which will take you to the option to select/pay for seats. If I'm remembering correctly, J class long haul seat selection is around $140-$150
