Some questions before booking a flight for my daughter: AA marketed but BA operated flight and their basic economy fare. Would her AY+ Gold status benefit free checked luggage apply? We know BA is notorious for not allowing OW status benefit free checked luggage for their lowest cost Y fare but is AA marketed a trick here? Would check-in (or baggage drop) be on AA or BA desk (both are available in these round-trip locations)? TIA
