Hilton's latest promo is 1000 points per stay (with points worth about .4 cents each), while Marriott hasn't offered a decent points-earning promo in literally years.
For me 1,000 Hilton Points is better than the 0 offered by Hyatt for summer promos.
Also, I had 18 stays in Hyatt’s last promo period, earned a total of 1,300 Bonus Points. So yeah, 18k Hilton Points would be much much better.
Post pandemic for Hyatt it’s like they fired their entire promotions department and grabbed a bunch of new people fresh out of college who are just throwing stuff to the wall and seeing what sticks so to speak.
I think for us the last good Hyatt Global promo was in 2022…with the Stay 2 Nights, get 2,022 points.
