There's some nuances with international tickets where if you acutal start travel on a ticket, you have one year from start of travel to use credit from ticket and complete travel. But otherwise, you only have 1 year from date of issue of ticket to complete travel using ecredit after making changes. For domestic tickets, all travel must be completed within one year of date of issue (you will find this in domestic fare rules).
