Even as GGL they threatened to charge me for upgrading a GUF2 combo from D class to A class - and genuine change - on thae basis Mrs F. Is gold and it was her companion voucher (so she'd paid the taxes and fees on her amex). I dissuaded them from that approach since they hadn't warned me beforehand.
The agent said that the fee was definitely the change fee when I questioned it - there was also an additional 'service fee' (I think he said £30 but may be misremembering) which was waived because it could only be done by phone.
