Milestones incentivizes me to stay more than 60 nights if I know I can hit the next #0 threshold. 10k points is pretty good value compared to Marriott where I get nothing after 75 nights unless I’m going to spend for Ambassador. Overall, I like the program and thinks it’s effective in driving behavior.
I like the SUA’s for Hyatt as they work better than Marriott’s, losing the $100 Gift Card for the 40 night Milestone was a big hit for me, and 70-90 I’d rather just have a good quarterly promo if I’m being honest. I feel like post pandemic Hyatt has been pretty lackluster in comparison for quarterly promos to Hilton/Marriott. Along with that the Category 1-4 and 1-7’s have been pretty severely devalued in the last 2 years with most desirable properties moving up to 5 and 8, even if their ADR’s don’t really support that placement.
