This one is more than that to me… it’s cutting off your nose to spite your face. I haven’t been the beneficiary, so it’s not as if I’m advocating for myself. But I imagine someone in the DL HQ pointing out that people are angry someone is getting a discount and the solution is to raise fares. I can’t imagine anyone in the room was particularly upset by this solution.
Perhaps there is a recurring meeting in the GO for "Plan to address social media outrage du jour" and the litany of grievances. I would love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting.
