This was also an interesting data point: for an HNL-OGG-LAX routing booked as Premium Select, LIH-OGG on HA booked into First Class:

See the same on my end as well. Have a September OGG-LAX flight booked in first - still showing as Delta First, but what was a full comfort+ section is now empty and bumped to actual comfort+ on the 767-300.
