I’d be surprised if many people used BA Holidays for work travel. Our corporate policy meant that we had to book all travel through the CTA as then work knew who was where in the event of a catastrophe and what assistance was needed.
For those that used BA holidays in the past for work travel iit was to get double TP and BA ststus.
A lot of BAH is traditional leisure, bucket and spade and city breaks and there’s many non chain hotels featured apart from cities so I don’t think BAs target demographic is corporate travellers hotel and flights.
My hotel status has been from credit card and holding shares and not hotel night stay. I’d never reach those heights but at IHG properties booked through BAH I’ve been given status perks, upgrades, internet, late check out, welcome amenities and points on incidental spending which is a bonus.
BA are targeting different people and you’d need to work it out what you want. Hotel status, airline status, low deposits and greater flexibility , same day changes on flights, one stop shopping for convenience.
BAH still offer significant discounts of combined hotels and flights so a £10 Conrad Maldives and flight discount might outweigh points for a free night stay.
