It was a complete {mess} at IAD yesterday. The storms were bad but not that bad. Was going to SEA on the 5:48pm flight and they could have gotten us off in time but think the pilots played games knowing they would time out. We ended being delayed over 5 hours. Most other 5pm(ish) departures were delayed 1-2 hours. Never seen IRROPS handled so poorly by UA at IAD. And it was NOT all weather related.
