Still looking forward to my first DL flight of the year tomorrow evening to see how their domestic F stands up (it’s been maybe 6 months or so), but reading this thread is a reminder that the only thing differentiating the big 3 is livery so I’m managing my expectations.
Glad I ordered the curry.
Following up, had the curry and was not too impressed. About the same quality as the chx parm I had on AA on my outbound. Not much distinguishing DL and AA's domestic F product at this time. I'd give AA the edge on the overall seat layout, storage, and much more modern interiors (though of course, no IFE), also a slight edge in F&B. DL gets the slight edge on service, but it can vary so widely I'll call it a wash. But your Sky Clubs are in a completely different league than our Admirals Clubs, and your west coast and midcontinent hub terminals are just so much nicer than AA's. Definitely nice to mix it up and I think I'll be moving more of my business to DL.
