The Ritz Jeddah is a very elaborate property that is also very nice - here are my impressions and photos:
Pros:
- Upgraded several days before arrival to a Royal Suite - the standard room above was my waiting room while the Royal Suite was getting ready - I believe there are two of these Royal Suites per floor
- The Royal Suite is 5380 square feet and features a 10-seat dining room, 5 bathrooms, two seating rooms, a large office, a kitchen and nanny’s quarters, and a king bedroom
- The design and detail is exquisite
- Great balcony with nice views
- Bed was comfortable - medium mattress, plush pillows, plush covers
- Shower pressure was amazingly strong - one of the best showers I’ve had
- Very friendly service throughout
- Great and tasty welcome gift - fresh macarons, great pecan tart
- No issue with requested 2 PM checkout
- Asked how much it would be to add breakfast and they gave it to me complimentary at check-in
- Breakfast was good - enjoyed my smoked salmon omelet and good paratha
Neutral:
- AC is not super strong but works okay (noticed this in the standard room, too)
I would absolutely come back.
